Some dangers, we can’t see. That’s why a Temperature Sensor is an important part of home security. The SimpliSafe Temperature Sensor triggers an alarm if your home drops below 5°C. This prevents pipes from freezing, bursting and causing costly damage. You can also set an upper temperature limit to protect things like pets, paintings and plants. With a professional monitoring system, we will notify you immediately if there's an alarm when you’re not home.

Installing your SimpliSafe Temperature Sensor
It’s best to adhere your Temperature Sensor to a wall near your home’s main thermostat, or near any exposed plumbing that is prone to freezing or burst when the temperatures drop. Avoid placing it near your boiler.
You can change the temperature threshold of each individual sensor in the device setting on the Keypad menu.
